iTunes: A Revolution

It is safe to say that everyone listens to music. One's music collection/library is unique to them and this aid's in the creation of one's "self." Before there was digital music there was CD's. Not only were they cumbersome, but they were expensive. Fortunately for those of us with ever expanding music libraries there is what Apple Inc. created to make life more simple, and this, iTunes. In my project I will research:
  • The impact iTunes has made technologically, economically, and on our society. 
  • How media has gone from substance to digital.
  • How iTunes is shaping our society for the future.

    I love my iTunes library, it is like my child.

    Did you happen to catch this Ping thing that is on the newest version of iTunes now?

    Lol, I feel the same way about my iTunes library. I find myself constantly updating it and making sure it looks clean; I hate it when the title's aren't correct or the artist's name is in the song name..grinds my gears). I did catch this Ping thing, not a fan.

    I feel the same way with the titles and artists. I hate seeing blank information lol. And that Ping feature, not really my thing either.

    In my opinion, iTunes library is the best program to organize your songs and its simple to use. And the titles are wrong because the person who created the file didn't know how to name the file properly.

    iTunes is a great tool to use as it is easy to navigate and search for songs, movies, tv shows and etc. What's great about it is that we can pick and choose the song we like without buying the whole album. And at times, there are some free songs available. Of course, downloads from iTunes is no replacement from having an actual CD because I believe we can't redownload the songs from iTunes if we lost the files. But I do prefer iTunes over other music player as it is much convenient when comes to browsing and downloading.

    I really like your topic and I definitely agree with you on this. Apple has revolutionized the way we listen to music with Itunes. Its really genius how they designed Itunes. The greatest thing about it is the fact that your entire music library can be with you wherever you go. Apple is playing a lead role in new technology. They are finding ways to make products smaller and more powerful.
